Following the introduction to the prototyping, Mr. Mohd Najib Rasid (FASSB) presented needs from end-users. He explained their requirements for satellite remote sensing data usage and possible application to their oil palm management processes. The participants much understood oil palm replanting process. In this discussion, we agreed to compare 3 types of DEM/DSM (manually acquired data, ALOS world 3D, and DSM made by high-resolution commercial satellite image) and FASSB provides agro-environmental data.
We conducted field study on the following day, August 22. GNSS field data was collected in some conditions at the oil palm plantation at Kota Gelangi 6, Estate. Analysis of field data will be conducted in due course.
