1.1 GCOM-W/AMSR2
The Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 2 (AMSR2), mounted on the Global Change Observation Mission - Water "SHIZUKU" (GCOM-W), is a sensor for observing microwave signals naturally emitted from various materials on the earth such as ground, sea surface, and atmosphere.

1.2 Aqua/AMSR-E
The Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer for EOS (AMSR-E) was a JAXA sensor mounted on NASA's EOS-Aqua satellite (launched on May 4, 2002 but AMSR-E operation stopped at 3:58 p.m, October 4, 2011). The AMSR-E is the predecessor of the AMSR2.

1.3 GOSAT-GW/AMSR3
The Global Observing SATellite for Greenhouse gases and Water cycle (GOSAT-GW) / the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 3 (AMSR3) is the JAXA satellite/sensor currently under development. It is the successor of AMSR3 and is scheduled to be launched in 2024. The AMSR Viewer will use AMSR3 data after the observation starts.
