[ Release of "JAXA Realtime weather watch" website ] November 14, 2018
"JAXA Realtime weather watch" website provides you images of current surface wind direction / wind speed, surface air temperature, surface water vapor amount, accumulated water vapor amount, sea surface pressure, accumulated precipitation amount, Outgoing Longwave Radiation(OLR) . These are results of calculation based on the system NEXRA which JAXA jointly developed with the University of Tokyo and RIKEN, combining satellite data and numerical weather models.
[ GSMaP NOW product (area-extended) is now available ] November 1, 2018
We have started to distribute the area-extended “JAXA Realtime Rainfall Watch (GSMaP_NOW)” dataset which covers rainfall both in the “JMA Himawari” and “EUMETSAT Meteosat” area.
[ GPM Products (Version 06） Release ] October 4, 2018
JAXA and NASA have started to provide a new version (Version 06) of GPM standard products.The data from March 2014 will be reprocessed.

[ HTTPS-Everywhere for EORC ] August 10, 2018
The Earth Observation Research Center (EORC) entire webpages will be the HTTPS-Only from middle of September.
This is due to adopt the security standard that all websites and web services only provide service through a secure HTTPS connection.

You can download 17-yr reprocessing product from Dec.1997 to Apr.2015 sequentially.
Released products are TRMM/PR and SLH Level 2, Level 3 products.

We have renewed the JAXA GSMaP websites.
The wider display for rainfall is highlighted on the top page of the new websites. Regarding the "JAXA Global Railfall Watch" website, various functions were added in this renewal.
