Report for Data Comparison
Inter-comparison or validation of space-based agromet information is imperative for accuracy improvements, interoperability or complementary use.
Data comparison between ISRO and JAXA
Performance of agromet products (precipitation, NDVI and LST ) of JAXA (JASMIN) and ISRO (MOSDAC/VEDAS) for detecting agrometeorological events (drought and flood) were compared in India and Thailand. In this study, efficiency for detection of drought and flood events using agromet data have been recognized. Similar trend derived from both ISRO and JAXA’s data improved reliability of our results. Detail report is available from below.
