2019
The delayed provision of AMSR2 product (March 18, 2019)
Realtime processing and provision resumed at 9:00 (UT) on March 19, 2019. We will provide until the end of March the products that are currently not available. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
[Mar. 19 2019 Published] There has been a delay in the provision of AMSR2 products from 12:00 (UT) on March 18, 2019. We are still working for recovery of service, and we will contact you when the service resumes.
Due to the system maintenance, the AMSR2 research products update will be suspended from 02:30 Mar 14, 2019 to 05:00 (UTC).
Reprocessing several files of All-weather Sea surface Wind speed
We reprocessed several Level 2 and 3 files of the AMSR2 All-weather Sea surface Wind speed (ASW) research products (V301) due to problem in missing data handling. All affected files (Then L2 files from July 2012 to December 2018 and L3 files that use those affected L2 files as input) have been replaced with new files. Details are as listed. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
2018
Missing period of the AMSR2 data
The AMSR2 global observation was temporarily suspended from 06:13 to 16:55 Dec. 16, 2018 (UTC) and observation data of that period was missed. Currently, observation and data distribution of AMSR2 are back to normal. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Since some of the products processed on November 15, 2018 were incomplete, we have temporarily stopped publishing the product.

The AMSR2 global observation data distribution was suspended from 10:32 Nov. 25 to 00:38 Nov. 26, 2017 (UTC), but the AMSR2 observation data distribution was resumed. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We replaced AMSR2 water vapor images over tropical cyclones with AMSR2 all-weather sea surface wind speed images in the JAXA/EORC Tropical Cyclone Real-time Monitoring page.
