HTTPS-Everywhere for EORC

The Earth Observation Research Center (EORC) entire webpages will be the HTTPS-Only from middle of September. This is due to adopt the security standard that all websites and web services only provide service through a secure HTTPS connection. It means our web pages will be changed from insecure "http" to secure "https". This changes the URL of EORC website as follows.

http://www.eorc.jaxa.jp ⇒ https://www.eorc.jaxa.jp

http://sharaku.eorc.jaxa.jp ⇒ https://sharaku.eorc.jaxa.jp

http://suzaku.eorc.jaxa.jp ⇒ https://suzaku.eorc.jaxa.jp

http://bishamon.eorc.jaxa.jp ⇒ https://bishamon.eorc.jaxa.jp

http://kuroshio.eorc.jaxa.jp ⇒ https://kuroshio.eorc.jaxa.jp

http://apollo.eorc.jaxa.jp ⇒ https://apollo.eorc.jaxa.jp

Protecting user privacy is an important aspect and duty of public service organization, and Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is a fundamental component of online digital security between our webpages and your systems. The HTTPS-Everywhere for EORC helps prevent against a variety of dangers by a third party, as well as spoofing and tampering. This will allow everyone access our website safely.

When you will access our old URL (HTTP), we will automatically redirect the new address (HTTPS).
Please be aware that the encrypted website cannot be displayed on old operating system and browsers without TLS1.2 encryption.

We appreciate your understanding on this initiative secure website migration.
