Simulation results of Today’s Earth (TE) are available in netCDF format via the FTP server.
Users are required to read the terms of use carefully and complete the registration
through the link below before accessing the data.
Some products and variables are also available through the JAXA Earth API.
Important: As of July 2026, data from the latest version of TE-Global
have not yet been released.
The product description document provides basic information on Today’s Earth (TE), including product specifications, performance, and limitations. Users are encouraged to read this document and understand the characteristics and limitations of the TE products before using the data.
Today’s Earth (TE) provides several simulation products with different forcing datasets, domains, spatial resolutions, and publication periods. Major variables from the latest version of each product can be viewed on the monitoring pages accessible from the top page. For detailed product specifications, please refer to the product description document or DOI links listed below.
Note: Products with “No longer updated” in the update frequency column are no longer updated, but archived data remain available through the FTP server.
