| Those figures show that sea surface temperature (SST) observations near Japan from the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) satellite on February 13, 2000 (8UTC). Although VIRS has higher resolution than that of TMI, TMI observe larger area since it can measure SST under clouds. |
