Nearest airport is Leipzig, about 1 hour from Jena. Travel from Leipzig airport to Jena either by train (via Leipzig main station) or by taxi (approx. 100 euro): We may be able to organize cheaper group taxis from Jena to pick you up at the airport if you indicate your arrival time to Christiane as soon as possible!
Jena can also be reached from Frankfurt or Berlin airports via train in approx. 3 hours. Most convenient is Berlin-Schoenefeld airport, since the train station is directly located next to the terminals. From Frankfurt you have to change trains in Weimar.

Room rates: Single: 62 euro, Double: 82 euro, breakfast included. Make your bookings DIRECTLY with the hotel as soon as possible. A block reservation for 15 single rooms has been made - please refer to the NASDA-meeting when making the reservation. The hotel is located about 10 minutes by foot from the FSU Geography Institute.
Welcome drink
For those of you arriving Sunday, a welcome drink will be held at the Jena Planetarium Sunday evening at 19.00. We will meet in the hotel lobby at 18.45 and walk together to the Planetarium.
