Ozone Hole

A satellite image taken at the Antarctic Pole indicates an ozone hole. The lower left image indicates the biggest ozone hole (September 10, 2000), and the lower right image indicates the second biggest ozone hole (September 24, 2003). The ozone hole is represented in violet or blue in the images. This information is useful for predicting harmful ultraviolet rays.
