Resolution for the Irregular Values in Deficit Area of Level 1B Products of AMSR/AMSR-E
JAXA/EOC announces that the cause and affects of irregular values in deficit area of level 1B products of AMSR/AMSR-E have been determined, and the resolution for this problem was completed on October 21st, 2005. JAXA/EOC will start re-processing of those affected products and re-distribute to users who ordered with the new products.
The following is the detail of cause and affects of the problem and re-distribution schedule.

Problems found only in data deficit area and upper/lower 10 scan lines of those areas.
| (b) AMSR/AMSR-E level 2/3 products (version 3)|
Problems found only if the affected level 1 products were the source of higher products.
Re-processing schedule: JAXA/EOC will complete until the end of January 2006.
