1. はじめに

本システムでは、複数の衛星(A-Train軌道を飛行しているCloudSat/CPR、CALIPSO/CALIOP、Aqua/MODIS等)を利用した雲や大気微粒子(エアロゾル)などの地球物理量データを公開しています。

地球物理量データの算出には、雲エアロゾル放射ミッション(EarthCARE)プロジェクトのJAXA EarthCAREサイエンスチーム(九州大学、国立環境研究所、東海大学等)が開発したアルゴリズムにより作成しています。

なお、本システムは、EarthCARE打上げ前に、A-Trainデータを利用したアルゴリズム開発成果の最大化、JAXA EarthCAREプロダクト提供準備を目的として公開しています。

2. データ概要

本データセットは、ユーザのデータハンドリング向上のため、九州大学が開発したCloudSat/CPR、CALIPSO/CALIOP、Aqua/MODISデータを鉛直240m, 水平1.1kmグリッドにリサンプリングするMerged Dataset作成手法を適用し、複数の衛星観測データを同一のグリッドに統合しています。
