Resolution for the Irregular Values in Deficit Area of Level 1B Products of AMSR/AMSR-E

JAXA/EOC announces that the cause and affects of irregular values in deficit area of level 1B products of AMSR/AMSR-E have been determined, and the resolution for this problem was completed on October 21st, 2005. JAXA/EOC will start re-processing of those affected products and re-distribute to users who ordered with the new products.
The following is the detail of cause and affects of the problem and re-distribution schedule.Cause of problem:
Program failure in AMSR/AMSR-E level 1 processing
Problem:
Irregular values in deficit areas and upper/lower 10 scan lines of those areas. Please refer to the list of specific data items which contain irregular values.
