#### AMSR2 SST Comparison with MGDSST and Suomi/NPP VIIRS SST (or previously with Reynolds SST)  #####

The AMSR2 SST data are compared to the MGDSST (Merged satellite and in situ data Global Daily Sea Surface Temperatures in the global ocean) and Suomi/NPP VIIRS SST or Reynolds SST.

Data Conditions
・AMSR2 SST data with "normal" in quality_level is only used for analysis.
・Suomi/NPP VIIRS SST data with "best_quality" in quality_level is only used for analysis.
・Suomi/NPP VIIRS SST data is resampled to 0.25 x 0.25-degree grid box from original 0.02 x 0.02-degree grid for comparison with AMSR2 SST in 0.25 x 0.25-degree grid.

・AMSR2 SST (1st week of July 2012 - present)
・Reynolds SST (1st week of July 2012 - 3rd week of August 2022)
・Suomi/NPP VIIRS SST (4th week of August 2022 - present)
・MGDSST (1st week of July 2012 - present)
