Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency succeeded to detect the surface deformations at the New Georgia islands, i.e., the new Georgia, Kolombangara, Rendoba, and Tetepare island of Solomon islands, caused by the M8.1 Earthquake occurred on April 2 using the PALSAR Interferometry (Fig. 1).
