Earth Observation Center
EOC receives data from Japanese and foreign earth observation satellites are then processed, inspected and analyzed at EOC. The data is provided to regional public organizations, research institutes and universities which utilize it in various fields, such as environmental problem resolution, disaster observation and resource exploration. Also, for the effective use of the observation data, EOC cooperates internationally to collect data and provide as data sets.

JAXA has been promoted to build ISO14001, EOC got ISO14001 third-party certification in 26th, Jan, 2000.

JAXA has been promoted to build ISO14001. In addition to this, we have applied this system to EOC’s image analyses work from 2001. From now on, we will promote our policy of saving environment and efforts to guarantee the quality.
