INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS

1) The organisers intend to publish the proceedings of this 1999 GRFM/GBFM InSAR Meeting. Contributions should be handed to the organisers during the meeting. Please bring a 3'5 PC format floppy disk with the file and two printed copies of the paper. For the publication the authors are kindly requested to follow the instructions provided below:

• Use MS Word 6.0 to Word 2000 (DOC) format file or Acrobat (PDF) format
• Paper format: standard A4 (21 x 29.7 cm)
• Vertical typing area is 24 cm (for A4 this means a top margin of 3 cm, bottom of 2.7 cm)
• Horizontal typing area is 17 cm (for A4 this means left and right margins of 2 cm each)
• Text in two columns of 8 cm each, separated by a centre interval of 1 cm
• Justified text
• Font size: Times Roman 10 pt; single line space (11 points).
• Section headings: flush left, in Times boldface 10pt.
• Images, figures, and tables: all numbered and captioned, preferably inserted within the text, close to where they are mentioned the first time.

Whenever the font Times is specified, equivalent fonts such as Times Roman or New Times Roman can be used instead.

2)The TITLE (in capital letters)

• Centred at the top of the first page: Authors name(s) in (In Caps and Lower Cases)
• Author's affiliation and professional addresses (with phone, fax and email)

3 ) Start the text in the left column with an abstract (approx. 150 words) highlighting the main points.

4) References should be complete and uniform. We suggest citations as in Curran (1985), Krug (1992) e Novo et al. (1990)
